Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jase is a precious little MaltiPoo who was found as a stray and brought to the shelter. The original owner never came to get him so EARS rescued him as soon as we could. Jase is about 4 years old and weighs 6.8 pounds. He desperately needed a groom (shave) and had developed an infection on his face due to the gunk that had built up under his hair. Jase is super sweet and loves to be held. When he wants attention, he will sit on his haunches with his two front feet in the air. Sooo cute! Even though Jase gets along with the other dogs, big and small, in his foster home, we think he would be fine as the only dog since he seems to prefer humans to other, more playful dogs. Please note that because Jase is so small we do not recommend him to families with children under 5.
We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
