My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is a handsome, ~ 18 month old traditional black & tan German Shepherd. We believe he was being kept as part of the "backyard breeder" program. Max is a very large (90 lbs and thin) and powerful dog. He has clearly had little training and probably not much people time either. He is eager to learn & please, but will need basic obedience training as he is short on his doggie manners. Overall, he seems to be in good physical condition, needs to put on 10 lbs or so and has some minor flea allergy spots that are healing now that he is on flea & tick preventative. We will only be considering proven,experienced adopters who are physically capable of handling a large, powerful dog. MANDATORY Vet and home check, secure fenced yard & proven prior GSD ownership required - and YES WE DO CHECK !! No cats, small dogs or children under 8 yrs old please. Adoption Donation $150
