My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Barney, a Basset-Doxie mix. One word to describe him is lover. He loves to play with his furry foster brothers and sisters, loves to eat, but most of all he loves to be right next to his foster mom wherever she goes. His favorite place is next to her on the sofa cuddling. He is crate and house trained. He gets plenty of exercise running the back yard. Even though he only has one eye, that does not stop him from racing around the back yard with all the others.
Barney has never met anyone he doesn't like. He loves his foster home but would love a family to call his forever home. Just look at that sweet face!

Barney is a male/n Basset/Doxie mix born ~November 2012.

Our adoption fee is $250 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
