My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Samantha is a beautiful 8 year old. She is pretty timid so asks that you take your time with her. She was rescued from a home with too many animals and it would be so nice for her to be in a home where she feels safe and secure. Samantha is FELV+ so should be the only cat in the home. It is not transferable to humans or dogs. She will warm up to you if you are patient with her and it's so worth the time it takes for her to feel comfortable.

Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) has been associated with cats for many years, although it was only labelled as such as recently as 1986. The virus depletes the number of white blood cells, which eventually makes the cat less able to fight off infection. However, because it is such a slow acting virus many FIV positive cats can enjoy a normal lifespan with no apparent health problems resulting from the virus.

All cats receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed and spayed/neutered and feline leukemia tested. Cats 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
