These two are are characters. They are as sweet as pie and just melt when you pet them. We are working on leash training. They had probably never been on a leash when we received them. They now love walks but usually don't walk in a straight path. The car is still a bit scary for them. They ride well when they are in there but getting them in can be a challenge. They both have great personalities and are just happy all the time. Gavin we estimate to be 4 years of age. Gwen appears slightly older at 6 years of age. Both weigh approximately 30 pounds.
They are extremely attached to one another and we are looking for a home that will take both of them. They would hate to be apart.
We received Gwen and Gavin from Desoto County Animal Services. They were found as strays and needed a lot of medical attention. They were both is pretty bad shape. Both were highly Heartworm positive. Gwen had a huge abdominal hernia that needed to be repaired. Gwen had obviously had quite a few litters over the years too.
They have both received the medical attention that they needed (spay/neuter, heartworm treatment, hernia repair) and are ready to find forever homes.
