My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm Libby!!!

I am about 2 years old and weigh around 55 lbs. My left eye looks shiny because I am blind in that eye. No I don't need a walking stick, I can see just fine out of my other eye! I am a little shy at first, but I'll forget all about my shyness once you give me a treat. I had my own home for a long time. My pup parent got sick and well, here I am. I am housetrained...bonus! I'd like a home without children or other dogs because I tend to guard my person, as they belong to me. Or, with training, that may just be a thing of the past. I really want to have a home again....for furever, this time.

My adoption fee is $200. I am spayed, UTD on vaccines, and will be microchipped prior to adoption. A home visit will be arranged with you after we receive your application. You can apply for me online at www.ruralanimalrescueeffort.org or email ruralanimalrescueeffort@gmail.com for an application today!

I am at a shelter in rural west TN, but Rural Animal Rescue Effort (RARE) will make arrangements with you if you would like to meet me! Call or apply for me today because I can't wait to meet you!

Rural Animal Rescue Effort (RARE) is a foster based rescue, and does not currently have a facility to house all the animals at the various shelters we help. Some animals are in foster homes throughout middle and west TN and some are in shelters throughout middle and west TN. Depending on the locations of the animals and their potential adopter(s), we will arrange a meet and greet at the shelter or bring the animal to to potential adopter's home. Please contact us for more details.
