Oscar's Story...
Visit Oscar at the Woodbury Petsmart where he's currently in the adoption center. Ask a Petsmart Associate to open his kennel door so you can pet him and get to know him better.

Oscar is a big, handsome guy. Oscar is very affectionate and loves to be petted. If there's no one around to pet him, he enjoys spending time looking out the windows. Otherwise he likes to hang out and be petted or brushed. Oscar is very gentle and well-behaved and will make a wonderful companion.

Oscar has been neutered, vaccinated, has tested negative for FIV/Feline Leukemia and is estimated to be about 4 years old. In his foster home, Oscar enjoyed Wellness canned food (chicken, turkey, beef/chicken - it's best to avoid fish flavors).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Roseville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Roseville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Roseville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roseville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roseville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roseville paves the way for another one to be saved.
