Paco at Madison Hts's Story...
This is a courtesy post.

This is Paco!

Paco is about 8 years old and 11 pounds. He is a Chihuahua and Rat Terrier Mix. His owner passed away and he was surrendered to the shelter.

Paco is in a foster home with 2 other Chihuahuas and 2 adult cats. He is a bit insecure and would do best with cats or other small dogs his size. He is crate trained and housebroken.

He has a grade 5 heart murmur which causes some coughing. He is on two different medications called Lasix and Enalaphil that he takes daily. Monthly cost for the medication is $28-30 at vet pricing. He will need to stay on the medication.

Paco is socialized and loves going for car rides and visits to friends house or pet stores. He is well mannered and calm. He has typical Chihuahua personality were he barks at times but not all the time.

He is looking for someone that will be home most of the time and give him plenty of attention.

Interesting meeting Paco? Contact the shelter to make arrangements. He is fostered in Madison Heights and available through Silver Lake Animal Rescue League. Adoption fee is $225.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paco at Madison Hts, a Warren Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Warren, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
