Facts about Ernie

  • Breed: Boxer Mix
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 7304906-K-18

Ernie is clearly part Boxer, but his other half must be hound. He sometimes busts out with a Boxer wiggle-and-bounce, but he also gets lost in scent and loves to check out the yard. He is strong on leash but would improve if he got outside more often. Ernie will not make a good yard dog. He came in with cuts on his face that look like he may have gone under a chain link fence.  He likes to chase toys (but won't pick them up!) and loves to show you his adorable ears - he's a great boy!  He is fantastic with other dogs of all sizes - except at meal time. He MUST be fed separately and kept away from any other dog's food. He was curious toward the kitties in what seemed like a friendly way. He is under 21' so medium height but stocky in build.

Est Date of Birth:  Nov 2013    Est weight:  45#
