Lucy's Story...
PENDING ADOPTION
Lucy will melt your heart with just a glance. She is an adorable, playful, energetic soul who loves to play fetch with her stuffed animals. She is about 2 years old, and is crate trained. She loves to curl up next to you or even under the covers while she is sleeping. She is small, but mighty and will run with the big dogs if given the opportunity. Lucy weighs in at 9 pounds, and is potty trained. Her full name is Lucy Love and with good reason. Once you gain her trust, she will become your best buddy. Lucy listens well to instruction and redirection. She may do well as the solo pup in the household, but can also fare well taking her place in a pack. Her playfulness is almost contagious, and she is waiting for a household with lots of love and time to give her. If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting Lucy, please complete an adoption application at www.toledospetbullproject.com/adoption-info/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Toledo Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
