This handsome boy is JACOB a gorgeous Weimaraner Lab mix. Jacob is a sturdy boy he is listed as 2 yrs but we think he is more like 1yr to 18m Jacob has the most wonderful temperament and beautiful features. Jacob is blessed with stunning good looks,gorgeous white teeth,he is a goofball and a lover, Jacob needs a family that will love him unconditionally and make him part of the family the love you will get back from this boy cannot be measured.
Jacob`S story starts here ))) Jacob was rescued from a Louisiana kill shelter he was originally adopted out from the same shelter he was returned and he became urgent because he killed a cat. Unfortunately shelters do not research the breed this is not uncommon in our Weimaraner breed. They are hunting dogs, Jacob is more Weim than Lab. We got Jacob to safety he was fostered in a loving home in Louisiana for 2 months he shared the home with an older Weim and a female Jack Russell. Jacob enjoyed his stay and proved to be a great boy, We brought Jacob to Florida and he is ready to go to his forever family, Jacobs transition went well and he was soon playing with our other Weimaraners Jacob is a baby he is submissive and dosent get involved in the pack mentality he loves to run and play he is a goofball and a joy to watch He loves to try and climb on you for hugs he is a total lover and he is a talker. He is quite comical He plays with his fosters little yorkie shtzu and he is careful not to hurt him which does make us wonder if the cat theory was true, However we are not going to take the chance so we are looking for a cat free home. Jacob is a big puppy He will destroy toys unless they are tough We give him Nylabones or antlers and that seems to work. Occasionally he will be mischievous and chew something he shouldn't so a word of caution put your things out of reach. We are now looking for that special family that can give Jacob love structure stability and a little discipline. A family that has time to invest.
This boy is so lovable he deserves a family that will give him the love and attention he deserves. Jacob will warm to you and just melt your heart. he knows commands sit & down, Like most Weimaraners he likes car rides and he is excellent in the car We do not crate any of our Weimaraners. we are looking for a family that will not crate him At night time he loves to sleep on your bed and snuggle and have belly rubs he loves to be close to his humans. If you dont like a dog on your furniture Jacob is not for you he likes home comforts, Jacob is housebroken. He will come when called. its so hard not to fall in love with this boy And its very difficult to find anything negative to say about him he is just a lover but he does need someone that is home most of the time, Jacob is Neutered, current on all vaccinations he is micro.chipped heart worm negative and up to date on monthly prevention. he is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to relax in the home. We are looking to find Jacob a wonderful forever home that can cherish him and give him the love and attention he needs, A family that is really stable and can give him that forever home that means forever we don't ever want to see this boy back in a shelter. A family that will include him in their lifestyle and activities would be perfect Jacob will be awesome with the right interaction. Someone that is at home most of the day would be perfect for Jacob like most Weims they dont like to be apart from you for hours on end. A home with a FENCED in yard for him to play is ESSENTIAL. Another dog would work for him to play with a female would be perfect. Jacob would also be good as an only dog as long as there is a lot of interaction Jacob is good with children but we are looking for a home without any young children Jacob is a strong boy an older family is required someone that has the time to devote to this boy. We are definitely looking for a Weimaraner owner or someone that is familiar with the breed The weimaraner breed is not for everyone they are unique and need a lot of understanding, Jacob loves to snuggle and would be happy relaxing on the sofa with you, He is a counter surfer if given the opportunity so a little discipline may be needed in that area If you think that you have what it takes for this exceptional boy and can open your your heart and home, to make Jacob`s life complete you will be rewarded with a wonderful , loyal faithful friend that will bring you endless hours of pleasure.
