Blaze's Story...
Blaze would make a wonder farm cat. We have found that he thrives in the outside. Blaze is one of the cats found in the ditch in the cold. But we won't dwell on that now, just look at him enjoying life now. He is such a playful big boy. He is part of a bonded pair. We would love it and so would he, if someone could give him and his sister a home together. They have been through so much together and really don't want to separate them now.

December 2015 - These two cats that we rescued a couple of weeks ago are now up for adoption. They have been health checked and received their vaccines. They are to go to a home together as they are very bonded to each other. The Grey one is a spayed female. Her name is Chatter, as she will talk non stop to you and to her little boy friend Blaze, the black and white cat. He is a neutered male. Both are around a 1 - 2 years old. We are fairly certain they were dumped/abandoned and left to fend for themselves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blaze, a Hinton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hinton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Hinton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hinton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hinton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hinton paves the way for another one to be saved.
