I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
This is our sweet and lovely Brandy. Our best guess is that she is a border collie/English Setter mix. She 1 1/2 years old and came to us from a shelter where she was picked up as a stray. A family sure must be missing her as she came to us fully trained in every capacity. She is totally housebroken, crate trained, though not needed, sits on command and walks wonderfully on a leash. She is a very calm canine. She is not high energy but does have the "smarts" of the border collie. Her coat is of medium thickness yet oh so soft, like silk. She has no problem going outside in the yard to relieve herself if it is raining. She has two meals daily and eats well. She takes treats gently from your hand and is not a beggar. Brandy sleeps well through the night on the couch and is crated when her foster family are away. She is good with other dogs, as long as they don't invade her space unless she initiates it. Brandy is not a vocal dog so is very quiet to have around. She is 42 pounds.
It took only 24 hours for Brandy to come out of her shell as she was timid when first arriving, She now is attentive and comes when called. She rides very well in the car and doesn't get car sick. We are unsure of how she is with cats and small children. Brandy is spayed, up to date with vaccines, including Bordetella, tested negative for heartworm on on flea prevention.
She will be a wonderful addition to almost any family, as her demeanor is extraordinary. Brandy is a real pleasure to foster.
