Coco Bean's Story...
My name is Coco Bean and you might mistake me for a jumping bean with all my puppy boy energy. I'm a 9-week old chihuahua mix who tips the scales at a whopping 4 pounds. I'll get a little bigger, but not too much! Since I'm just a puppy, everything is new and exciting. I like to play, explore, and just be a puppy! My foster family is working hard on me with house training, sleeping through the night, walking on a leash, and learning new commands. I like to play with my foster dog and cat siblings because they're small like me! I haven't met kids before, but they would need to know how to handle a little guy. My adoption fee is $300 and I'll be microchipped, vaccinated, and spayed. Email rescueofhope@gmail.com and ask for Coco Bean!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco Bean, a Grand Rapids Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
