My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES NICO INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Nick is a Great Pyrennes/Shepherd/Anatolian Shepherd we think, we are not quite sure, he certainly is different and unique looking and he looks more like a cross between a Wookie and the Abominable Snowman from the Frosty movie, and he sometimes sounds like the Wookie too, He is about 1 yr. old, , at about 92lbs. he still has some more growing and gaining to do.
Nick came to us via an owner surrender situation that he was not able to care for.
Nick is a big boy who needs obedience training as well. You simply cannot handle these big dogs without bonding and training or they will just walk you instead of the other way around.
Nick has a very sweet side but is sometimes choosy over other males, fine with females. Not good with cats.
Nick loves the outdoors, he loves the cold and these dogs hail from extreme winter temperatures,
He does great in the house, is well mannered and doesn't bother anything.

We are not as familiar with these dogs but took Nick in because he needed our help.
you can see in his video he is nothing short of being a major goofball and goober.
Like any dog, training is a must and absolutely necessary.
These breeds or combination of breeds are strong herding dogs, fierce protectors against predators and very strong.
