Forever Home Wanted: Meet Donner!!
We cannot lie…this one broke our hearts… one of our amazing volunteers was at the shelter when Donner (formally Damien) was left at the Carson Shelter. This charming, happy 6-7 year old guy was so happy, tail wagging, didn't have a clue how his life was about to go terribly wrong. He kept running to the front of the kennel wagging his tail thinking his family was coming back…he had no idea he wasn't going home. His family decided a fter all that time they no longer wanted the responsibility of a dog...
Their loss will be someone else's gain! Donner is FABULOUS! The perfect gentleman in the car and on the leash Donner was thrilled to be out of the shelter and now we would love to get him into a âª# HomeForTheHolidays⬠! Donner appears to be house trained, good with everyone he meets and knows some basic commands. He is a real doll who deserves better than what his family did to him for the holidays.
