Pretty, Little, Young White with Black Markings DMH Female (& her DSH White & Black buddy, Buddy)

Hi! My name is Chickadee and I have a cute black cap like my namesake bird.  I'd love for someone to give me a home so they could call me 'My Little Chickadee' (like the old movie ;>).  I am a  pretty, little, young, 2 year old medium-haired white with black markings spayed female.  I am a little shy and it will take a little time and patience for me to get to know you and trust you. I was rescued from life on the streets.  I was being feed by a nice person who was feeding stray cats in a feral colony, then I disappeared only to return injured and even more fearful.   I am so happy to have been rescued and had the care I needed to heal from my injuries and begin to trust humans again.   I am not a 'beginner cat', but would do well with someone who has experience with cats and is willing to give me the time and patience I'll need to adjust to a new home.  I love pets once I get to know you a little and I am very playful.  I am bonded to my best buddy, Buddy, a DSH White with Black 1 year old male so we need to be adopted together.    I also do fine with other cats who are docile as long as they don't bother me.    We don't know about dogs.  She should not be around young or loud children, unless they are older, experienced with cats,  calm and would give her the space she needs.  She needs a safe, calm home where she'll get a little time and patience to adjust.  Come meet this very pretty, little young lady and her bonded, best buddy, Buddy ; > ).

About Angels With Paws

About Our Shelter...

We believe ALL animals have the right to life.
Angels with Paws 501c3 charity runs a mostly cage-free, Limited Intake Rescue Shelter that since opening in 2004 has provided over 9,500 homeless, unwanted, abused, neglected and abandoned cats, kittens (and some dogs through foster care) with rescue, Veterinary and other care, rehab and a place to live until they are adopted. Many of them are injured, ill, disabled, and older and would be turned away or put down by other shelters. For these animals Angels with Paws is their last hope. This is amazing work considering we operate out of a converted Fast Food building, have very limited resources, few volunteers, no promotion, and no on-site Veterinarian. We educate the public on responsible pet ownership, and offer advice in caring for pets with the hope that they can be kept in their own homes instead of being relinquished to a shelter, the need to Spay/Neuter and the cruelty of declawing.

Angels with Paws does not receive any Government, Corporate or any regular funding. We do not have an on-site Veterinarian, and have to pay for our Veterinary Care and Supplies. Nearly all of our funding comes from private donations.

Our dream is to see the day when no adoptable animal will be euthanized.
