Henry's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hello!  My name is Henry.  I’m an older gentleman but young at heart.  I’m a very relaxed fellow.  I love to lay in your lap and keep you company.  I don’t bark.  I’m a little jumpy sometimes mainly because of the lack of sight in my one eye.  I have cataracts.  I do need a totally fenced in yard.  I tend to wander because of my poor eye sight.  I have my own wardrobe so you don’t have to worry about that.  Plus I have some toys but really don’t use them much. I’m looking for a new home where I can learn my way around and just enjoy my retirement.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henry, a Lansing Chinese Crested dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chinese Crested for sale in Lansing, or seeking a Chinese Crested dog from a breeder in Lansing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lansing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lansing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chinese Crested breeders who help with Chinese Crested rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lansing paves the way for another one to be saved.
