Petie's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Petie is a great snuggler and gets along well with the other dogs. He is learning the kennel and doing well. He has a few potty problems and we are working on them. He sleeps in the big bed with all the dogs and a human. He plays with the other dogs and is neutered up to date and has some skin issues but when they get cleande up and he will be fine. He has one blue eye and one brown eye. He travels well in a car and can jump very high so baby gates are no problem for him to jump over. He will need a fenced in yard because he can run and jump and has a prey drive.  He will bark when he see people and dogs out side but quiets down when told to.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petie, a Lansing Chinese Crested dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chinese Crested for sale in Lansing, or seeking a Chinese Crested dog from a breeder in Lansing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lansing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lansing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chinese Crested breeders who help with Chinese Crested rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lansing paves the way for another one to be saved.
