Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Natasha is a 1 year old purebred female Great Pyrenees who weighs about 75 pounds. She was surrendered to a rescue in Mississippi in late November and made her way to Minnesota from there.
Her foster mom has this to say about her:
She is a very people pleasing dog. She listens to everything I have told her without missing a beat. She is extremely dog friendly, and loves to play. She is gentle with the cats, all of them so much so my Oliver is even enjoying her company. She is nice with the kids, gentle even temperament all around. No separation anxiety, she slept in the laundry room. She would make an excellent first time Pyr owner dog. I think she would also make a perfect ambassador dog. My female Pyr showed some aggression, but Natasha calmed her with gentle nudges and playing. Even though my Pyr was being very reactive, Natasha took it in stride. It was pretty amazing to watch.
Natasha is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heart worm negative, and house trained. Natasha will be placed as an indoor, family pet only.
A site visit, adoption application, secure visible fencing, and an adoption fee are required to adopt Natasha. With very few exceptions, a visible, securely fenced yard is required to adopt a NorthStar Great Pyrenees Rescue dog.
