Icicle's Story...
Icicle is a young female border collie found as a stray in the Titan Way area. She appears to be 8-10 months old and is super sweet. She weighs 20 pounds. Her adoption fee will be $71 and include her spay, rabies, and a booster on her distemper parvo vaccine. She is on owner stray hold until her adoption date.

After receiving 2 calls this am asking about Icicle the young female border for breeding purposes the decision was made to make her an appointment to go ahead and get her vetting done so she will be spayed on Tuesday after becoming available Monday for adoption. Local or out of area adopters will need to make plans to pick her up at the vets office on Wednesday December 30 if adopting her. You may come by the shelter first thing Monday morning at 7am to adopt her and then she will be carried to the vets office.

ID No 301. Available to adopt 12-28-15 at 7am. Available to rescue 12-29-15 at 7am.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Icicle, a Lewisburg Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Lewisburg, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Lewisburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lewisburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lewisburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lewisburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
