My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello. My name is Lady. I'm about 2 years old and I weigh about 25 lbs.
I was surrendered to the pound by my owners because I had gotten away from them and came back home with a gaping wound in my shoulder and they weren't able to get me medical care.
The pound went and get me and took me to the vet. I was in very rough shape, but the vet get me stitched up and I am looking much better. My wound was all the way down to the bone and very deep and wide, so needless to say, I am still quite painful.
I am a little bit shy with new people at first, but I warm up really fast.
I pretty much spend most of my time up in the office curled up on a bed or by someone's feet.
I am very calm and quiet and I don't give the pound employees any trouble whatsoever.
I get along well with other dogs, though because I am in pain, I don't really care for them being too rambunctious around me.
It seems that I am pretty well housebroken. I try my best to not have any accidents in my kennel at night or when I am in the office.
I won't be able to go get spayed until after my sutures come out on January 4th, but the pound is posting me now in hopes that I can get adopted and have a family waiting to get me when I'm all ready to go.
If you're looking for a sweet dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER DECEMBER 21, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
