Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I'll just bet you are all wondering why these precious little babies are named after closets?? Well, here is their story. We got a call from a woman in an apartment building who said that she kept hearing dogs crying from the vacant apartment next door. We sent one of our volunteers up there and the manager let her in. Couldn't see any puppies but still heard the crying. They made their way into the back bedroom and opened up the closet and there they were! The mama and her 7 babies, locked in a closet that was barely 2 feet by 2 feet! As you can imagine, it was an unbelievable mess in there. Both mama and babies seemed very healthy, thank God! Once they arrived back here at the rescue, we cleaned them up and got them all settled into their nice warm indoor kennel. We estimated the babies to be about 4 weeks old at that point so we put their birth date at October 6,2015. Mama is very small (approx 12 pounds and is definitely a Dachshund mix. They are marked like Cattle Dogs so in all likelihood Daddy was a Cattle Dog. These precious babies are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on all of their shots and ready for their forever home. How can you resist these sweet faces?? Adoption fee $500
