Diez's Story...
**Diez is currently being fostered in Houston and is available for out-of-state adoption to an amazing family. The adoption fee is $500, which covers transport and Diez is fully vetted.**

Diez is a fun, cute puppy! He is a 6-month old lab mix who currently weighs about 30 pounds. He ended up in a Houston shelter through no fault of his own. He's now on the market for his forever family!

He has been part of a shelter training program where he has been learning his basic commands with a certified dog trainer. He knows sit, down, and stay. He will do anything for treats or affection! He loves belly rubs and is very happy and playful.

Diez's ideal home would be with a family with a fenced yard where he can run around and play with his people. He'd like to curl up with his family at night in a nice, soft bed.

Diez is neutered, up to date on his shots, completely vetted, and ready for adoption. The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application on our website www.reggiesfriends.org. Hover over the "adoptables" tab and the adoption contract link will appear. If you have any questions about Diez or our process, please email us at adoptions@reggiesfriends.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diez, a Boston Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Boston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
