My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marcello has managed to charm his way out of a high kill shelter in Texas and punch his ticket to come to New England :) He is recently arrived, a dashingly pretty boy and one of a kind. A young adult male, he is probably more up the alley of a Chow fan than someone into Goldens. Has a Chow aura, but a beautiful golden cream color and very soft coat. On the independent side, self assured, presents himself to other dogs as if he is in charge, but he interactive and ultra playful, be it with dogs or people. There is good vigor and lots of stability with this pup. Seems to get on fine with kids and likely would do well as a family pet, but could use some fine tuning to his training. Not a first time pet, but a rock solid dog for someone with a little experience. He's hard to photograph, but we do have a nice video up on him on our Southpaws Express Facebook page, courtesy of Cowboy Dave, a Texas volunteer who was a big fan of his. He's isn't likely to be available for long, so we do recommend that an application accompany all inquiries.
