Brett is a male Yorkshire Terrier mix approximately 2 years in age. He has pretty silver and tan coloring with a fine, super silky non-shedding coat. He has a cute little cropped tail which you might not be able to see in the pictures. Brett has been professionally groomed and is in good health. He is a big boy, weighing 20 pounds full grown. Brett is solid and stocky, and also gentle as can be. A sweeter dog than Brett will be hard to find. Brett is absolutely amazing with children, great with other dogs and excellent in public. He is just such a sweet dear. Brett has a heart of gold which is readily apparent to anyone who meets him. He is patient, kind, and affectionate with people. He loves to be included and will wait his turn for pats and treats. He has such a gentlemanly, polite way about him. Brett is well behaved inside the home and easy to manage. He is not demanding and will be happy with whatever is going on. He just likes to keep you company. Brett is a great walker and does well on leash with a harness. He is obedient to voice commands and will come when you call. He is a lover of peace and only wants to please. Brett was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He is an absolute winner and will make an outstanding pet and companion for some lucky person or family. Brett is ready for his new forever home today!

Brett’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Brett is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Lynda, Eric and Lisa and is ready for his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BRETT, a Newport Beach Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Silky Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Silky Terrier for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Silky Terrier dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Silky Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Silky Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
