My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cricket is approx 18 months and 20 lb. He was just a stray found wandering around a local park. He was so matted, we had to shave down, but believe he is a poodle/bichon mix. He is a sweet little dog, gets along with all of the other dogs, loves to run and play, likes toys, he has a very nice disposition, he does pretty well on a leash but is not 100% house trained. He needs to get plenty of walks or time in a yard to go to the bathroom, he loves to sniff around the yard. He is very smart and is learning very quickly on his house training. He is a super little dog!! He tested positive for heart worms and has been treated with the required series of injections, and he has also been started on monthly heart guard as a preventative.

The total adoption cost of $475 includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration . The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. All our dogs are in foster care, there is no physical shelter. Some have not yet arrived in PA.
