Homer is an 10 1/2 yr. old Black Lab mix. Homer is good looking and very lab- like but he is considerably smaller than a full blooded lab. He is more of a medium size than a large size. Homer's age is against him in that most people want pups or young dogs. But, if we didn't believe in Homer as a wonderful animal and if we didn't believe that there is still a chance for him to have a loving home and family of is own for the rest of his life, we wouldn't put him on the website. Homer is sweet and loving as any dog out there. He is a dear soul. ANYONE loving lab types and not wanting a wild, young one will love Homer as a companion. He is very good with people and other dogs. Homer has not been around a lot of small children; we recommend that children be supervised with him so that they do not try to play rough without Homer having bonded first. He is actually a quiet, gentle dog and would love a quiet, gentle environment to live in. Homer has been in foster homes and is very well behaved.
