Timmy Tiptoes is a young guy to have been through so much and still be smiling!
At less than a year old he was abandoned. Hit by a car, leg healed wrong and ended up on the PTS list at the shelter. Well he is just one of those special guys that the volunteers decided were not gonna let him go without a fight! Timmy was a puppy for gosh sakes! He was posted for rescue only because of his injuries. The volunteers got Davis to agree to repair his leg if he could find rescue. The rest is obvious! We at Whisker's Tails and Ferals always have a sweet spot for one so in need of help, love and care. So Timmy got his surgery and came to us on a sunny Saturday.
Timmy had 8 weeks of crate rest, lots of good food and a sort of quiet time to recover. Timmy had no idea why he didn't get to come out and run around with the other dogs! Now he is all better, leg is healed, he is scarred from the accident, but his attitude is sassy and he is definitely full of himself and in charge.
Timmy is also the smallest dog here in my home. He bullies the Great Pyrenees Male here (he is very used to the bologna of a Chihuahua) and any other dog he feels he can get away with. Timmy still sleeps separately from the others as he now feels the bathroom with a baby gate is his, so I spoil him all I can.
This makes him a little brat, which is my favorite kind of Chihuahua. Since there are so many, I figure there are so many people that like the little bratty kind too.
Wanna meet Timmy Tiptoes? He is unique and very entertaining. He is also very loving and pretty obedient.
