Goldie's Story...
Goldie was dumped outside to fend for himself when his breeder moved and left over 20 outside. He was one of 2 that we were able to take in and help. Goldie was outside for almost 2 months and was in poor shape. Very thin, dehydrated and loaded with Parasites. He had a URI and UTI and the nails on his front feet were grown into the pads. Goldie is very sweet and has a luxurious thick full coat that will require daily attention. He loves to be held and brushed and is very sweet. If you move at him to quick he will flatten to the floor and crawl backwards. He has gotten better with that since he has been in foster care. Goldie is about 14lbs now and estimated to be 2yrs old. He is GREAT with other cats, older kids and dogs. He is quite a talker and very food motivated. Neutered FELV and FIV negative Flea Treated, fully dewormed All vet records provided at the time of adoption. He is also going to the groomer next week to get spruced up. Please contact us to set up a meet and greet. Adoption fee 300.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goldie, a Northfield Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Northfield, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Northfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Northfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Northfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Northfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
