Our sweet little Topanga. She was out of time at a high kill southern shelter but fate intervened and she was pulled into rescue and placed with a foster family where she has just shined. Topanga is a beautiful one year old fluffy black and tan Spitz type mix who very much resembles a small Finnish Lapphund. She is full grown at a petite 20 lbs. Topanga is a darling little girl who gets along with everyone she meets. She has fun with other dogs, is respectful of cats, and is wonderful with children (she has 2 little girls to play with in her foster home). Our happy little tyke is a whiz at playing fetch, in fact it is a daily requirement....she must play fetch. Topanga is crate trained, is well mannered, and great on leash. Topanga is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and current on preventatives. Like so many other wonderful pups we come across, we have no idea how this gorgeous sweet loving little fluff ball ended up in such dire straights. All we really know is that when given the opportunity to live in a real home with a real family she has been a real joy to be with. Topanga was living on borrowed time and even though she may not have realized it, she had to know things were scary and just not as they should be. Topanga has learned that life is good. She's happy and well adjusted because of people in rescue who had faith in her. She is ready to move on to her final forever loving home where she will continue to have a relationship of togetherness with some very lucky family
