Hi, I’m ROCKY, a true battle-scarred tomcat from the streets of Chicago. I am outgoing in a reserved, polite way, waiting to be asked to come forward. LOVE being petted on my back! My tongue sticks out and I make funny faces when you do so (see video). I like to jump for toys and I pounce with all 4 feet. Favorite toy is a treat puzzle. You fill it with it with treats and I bat it around to make them fall out. I was born with smaller eye openings, which is why it’s hard to see my eyes in photos - and harder for me to see out of the corners of my eyes. I see just fine otherwise and there’s nothing to ‘fix.’ I've never had a home and want to be your only cat. I am afraid of most cats and all dogs, and young kids are too much for me. I loved my foster home and behaved purr-fectly! I will do best in a quiet to moderate-activity home, and I'm looking for someone who will sleep under me.
** ROCKY is estimated to be 5-6. His adoption fee is just $65. He is enjoying a cage-break in a local foster home and you can meet him there. Just email PURRS at email@example.com!
** For more information or to schedule a weekday appointment, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. (Our phones are currently under maintenance, and will be available again shortly.)
** All PURRS' cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FeLeuk tested, wormed, and microchipped.
