My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Before calling about this dog, please read our adoption requirements at http://gsrne.org/requirements-for-adopting-from-gsrne

With motherhood behind her ( Seven M-litter pups), Misha is showing us her true personality and enjoying life a lot more; she’s finally having the chance to act like the young German Shepherd female she is.
She loves her daily walks through the neighborhood and responds well to leash corrections, even if she starts to get too excited about passing another dog. Her foster parents have worked with her on basic commands, and she’s a quick learner and quite responsive. Her adopter will need to continue with the training and should enjoy coming up with new games and experiences to provide mental stimulation.
Misha has let us know that she enjoys being with people, but she would pick a guy as her first choice…she’ll even sit on his lap and give kisses. She enjoys playing in her fenced yard, especially when someone will throw the Jolly Ball for her. Once she picks up a scent, though, she’ll just have to investigate and will dig into the dirt in order to learn more.
She does have a strong prey drive, so she can’t move into a home that has cats or a small dog. She has made friends with a few male dogs and could probably live happily with an adult male dog who is about her size and energy level.
Misha is an affectionate girl and loves attention and companionship. If you have GSD experience and would like to learn more about her, please contact us.
