Please welcome Gizmo.  He is a four year old Beagle mix that we rescued from a local shelter.

Gizmo is as cute as they come.  He wants to play with other dogs, but is easily intimidated.   He would do well with a more laid back female dog.  He needs to work on some trust issues with people, but he's coming along nicely.   You just need to go slow with him at first.

Gizmo would love to have his forever home soon.   He is neutered,  crate trained, house trained, heartworm negative and mocr chipped.  For more information please contact Kathy at K9paris@gmail.com.

About Our Rescue Group...

Every year, BrightStar helps hundreds of homeless German Shepherd Dogs find new forever homes. BrightStar is a dedicated, geographically dispersed team of experienced owners, handlers, trainers and breed franciers that have one common goal ....
TO SAVE THE LIVES OF GERMAN SHEPHERD DOGS.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We meet every Saturday from noon until 3PM at Woofies, 5087 West Ridge Rd., Spencerport, NY 14559. And, the first Sunday of every month at Country Max, 897 Turk Hill Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 from noon until 2PM.

We have many activities and fundraisers during the year. Check our website for current information.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process includes the following:
First we require an adoption application be submitted ($20.00 fee) by the potential adoption family. Part of the application screening includes contacting the veterinarian used by the adopting family. Once the application has been approved a home visit is set up.

If the adopting family has already picked a dog that dog is taken to the home visit to see how they fit into the family's home and surroundings.

Once the application and home visit have been approved the family is accepted for adoption
