Hi there. My name is Liam. I'm about 2 years old and I weigh about 50 lbs.
I was found as a stray in Salem quite a while ago. I went to an animal control place there and I spent a really long time there. They don't post any of their animals online for adoption, so the chances of me finding a home there were slim to none. I spent my life there either in a kennel or on a chain, depending on how many other dogs there were. Sometimes, I even shared my kennel with other dogs because I am such a nice boy. The animal control is working with the pound to help reduce their numbers and to give us a better chance at finding a loving family, so I am now here at the pound looking for a family.
I was pretty shy when I first came in, but I am really coming around nice.
The longer I am here, the more adjusted and socialized I become. I am turning out to be a really sweet boy with nothing but tail wags, kisses and love to give.
I get along great with other dogs and I would love a home that has another dog for me to buddy up with.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER DECEMBER 22, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
