My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Only the Shadow knows…. And my name is Shadow! I am the girl Puppy of Mystery at the moment. I arrived here in a transport of other hounds, but I have confounded people with my unknown past. First, I am a puppy – only 14 months old, so I haven’t raced like all of my greyhound companions. And, second, I was listed as a “pet”! Was I a pet in my past? All of the moving around to unknown places has befuddled me a little bit, so maybe the clues to my former life will come to me with time.

Despite being a puppy, I am very calm and quiet, and I like to follow these people around (perhaps they have clues?) I have begun to feel that I can play occasionally, and I think I will need time to get used to feeling free to exhibit my true nature. The other dog in my foster home likes me quite a bit, and always makes a point to come out and greet me. She’s a good judge of character. Wouldn’t you love a Puppy of Mystery as part of your forever family?

Shadow is not cat tolerant and her small dog status is not yet known.
