Leo's Story...
Hi there! My name is Leo or lots of people call me Handsome Leo! I am a very Handsome orange and white tabby male kitten. I was born around the end of July 2015 with 6 other litter mates. We were seen at a housing development and Stray Cat Blues trapped us and we went to different foster homes. I live with lots of other kittens and cats and one dog and I get along with everyone.

I am very friendly! I like to rub my head against you so you will pet me. Then I like to roll over and show you my belly for some belly rubs. Then I start to purr very loud because I am so happy!

I love playing with shoelaces, toy mice and puffballs. If you show me new toys, I’m sure I would like them too!

Something I do that makes my foster mom smile each time is when I want to take a nap I will burrow under a blanket. My foster mom thinks it’s very cute to watch me make my way under because I creep so slowly.

Leo is neutered, litterbox trained, is up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
