Teddy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Teddy's Story...
Teddy is a sweet old soul. He is a 10 year old Mini Schnauzer weighing 15 pounds. Very gentle, social and outgoing. He would love a home to retire in that still is willing to play and exercise him some but by no means high activity. He also requests a comfy recliner or lap to sleep in. He lives with another dog currently and should mesh well with other dogs, he just needs appropriate introductions and probably matched energy levels. He should be fine with cat and great with kids, but they should respect his age and be gentle. He is very healthy, loves treats, toys and will do a cute dance for you too. His adoption fee is $150. First step is to fill out an adoption application which you can download from our website mustlovedogsnw.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy, a Vancouver Miniature Schnauzer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Schnauzer for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Miniature Schnauzer dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Schnauzer breeders who help with Miniature Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
