My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sawyer is Adopted

Sawyer is currently being fostered in West Farmington OH, and his adoption fee/donation is $250

Update 1-6-15
Our veterinarian estimates his age to be 2 1/2 - but being sent here from Korea it is so hard to say for sure.
This guy is very sweet and happy to meet everyone he comes into contact with and is completely housebroken.
He is very gentle and a little shy, but with time he comes out of his shell.
He gets along with other dogs and has never shown aggressive or guarding issues at all what so ever.
He is good with children and LOVES tennis balls!
Sawyer walks nicely on a leash (gets excited when you show him the lead) and rides very nicely in the car.
His ears are ablated but he hears perfectly. The nice thing about that is that you don't have to worry so much about ear infections - like a typical cocker.
Sawyer loves to sit next to you on the couch and actually watches the T.V. and likes to sleep in bed with you all night.
He would make a great companion for anyone :)

Original Post
Sawyer is a 5 yr old male cocker spaniel that came to us all the way from Korea.
He was rescued along with Sophia by local rescuers working hard in Seoul Korea to save animals from the dog meat farmers.
Sawyer & Sophia have just arrived to the states on December 26th, the day after Christmas.

Sawyer is so happy to be in s foster home, he is loving and affectionate, as well as great with the other animals in his foster home.
We will be evaluating his temperment and needs, as well as being looked over by our vet.

Sawyer did have serious ear issues when rescued in Korea, and needed to have a verticle ear ablation surgery, which resulted in some hearing loss.
He can still hear muffled like sounds and responds to commands from what we have seen so far.

We will be adding updates to this initial posting as we learn more about this sweet boy from Korea.

Sawyer is already neutered and up to date on vaccines.
