Clementine's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Clementine's Story...
Clementine is a healthy and funny 3 yo cat who was found on the street as a teenage mom. She is a medium-sized armful of love and affection who is currently very much loved, but Clem herself does not care for the growing cat-adoption-activities at Brooklyn Cat Farm... She would definitely prefer being an only cat (or one of two) and we want what is best for her. Clementine is stressed being around so many other cats and spends too much time hiding and not enough time playing these days.

Personality-wise, she is playful and can be a little fresh, but is never mean. With strangers Clem is shy, but toward her own human(s) she is very attentive, cuddly, funny and loves games, kisses and hugs. And mealtime! She becomes very happy and excited when patted -- and especially loves being brushed. While she has bounced back completely, this kid had some rough days on the street and deserves a peaceful, loving and stable forever home to call her own. It may take her a little time to fully adjust to a new house and owner but, once she is out of her shell, Clementine is charismatic and totally adorable. She is also very well behaved.

Clem has a thick, luscious gray coat and bright green eyes. She is healthy, spayed, fully vetted, FIV/Leuk negative and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clementine, a Brooklyn American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
