Here's what the humans have to say about me:
6 year old male purebred Miniature Schnauzer. Tracey was rescued from an inland empire shelter. Although Tracey came into the shelter as "a stray", the more likely story is that he probably was dumped as he had a HUGE open tumor on his back. He was a favorite at the shelter, and their rescue coordinator looked hard for a rescue group to take him after another rescue group that
was scheduled to take him backed out. We confirmed that it was not metastasized cancer with x-rays and had our vet surgically remove the tumor from his back and he is all healed. The tumor was the result of melanoma (skin cancer), our vet thinks they got all the cancer, however since it was a large tumor it was removed with narrow margins and unfortunately there are no guarantees. Tracey is a super sweet boy who is quiet and gets along well with other dogs. Tracey is approximately 17 pounds.
