Banjo's Story...
Hi, I'm Banjo! I'm 9 years old and I am sweet, sweet, sweet! My DNA test showed that I'm 50% American Staffordshire terrier, 50% German Shepard/Husky! Who knew! I'm great with kids, I'm housebroken and crate trained, and I'm very well behaved. I'm relaxed inside the house and love snuggling on the sofa! I'm not comfortable with other dogs, so I'd rather be your one and only pet.

If you are interested in finding out more about Banjo, please fill out an application.

Banjo is being fostered in Framingham.

The adoption fee is $200.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Banjo, a Worcester American Staffordshire Terrier/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Husky for sale in Worcester, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Husky dog from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Husky breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
