This little girl has been passed around to multiple homes. No wonder she has trust issues. She is sweet but very shy. Kika is extremely protective and territorial. Once she gets to know you & trusts you she will love for you to hold her & get belly rub. She would do best in a home with no children and only 1-2 people living in the home. If you are interested in Kika, take time to get to know her. Come in often & visit with her to gain her trust. Slow & steady is her game. But Kika is worth it. If she doesn't know you or she's afraid, she may get aggressive out of fear. One of our staff will help you to gain Kika's trust. This little girl really deserves to be loved & shown she doesn't have to fear anything!

PLEASE NOTE: We require all interested parties to come to the shelter to meet the pet, complete an adoption application, and interview with our Director. We do not do same day adoptions or ship animals. For additional information on our adoption policies, visiting hours and directions please go to Abandoned Pet Rescue.

About Abandoned Pet Rescue, Inc.

About Our Shelter...

Abandoned Pet Rescue is a 501 ( c ) (3) IRS tax-exempt, qualified charitable organization that rescues, shelters, and cares for countless abandoned and abused animals and finds them new homes. We have been serving the South Florida community since 1996. Our no-kill animal shelter is located in Ft. Lauderdale, where volunteers of all ages help perform the duties of running the shelter and our operations on a day-to-day basis, creating a mutually beneficial relationship between animals and the community. By conducting neighborhood sweeps, APR helps reduce the pet over population by spaying and neutering feral cats with the use of a mobile veterinary facility.
