My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bach spent his entire 10 years as a working dog on a farm. When his family retired, he went to the shelter. We sprung him from the shelter and he is perfect. For a dog that spent years working, he has quickly figured out all the high points to indoor life and has impeccable manners. He doesn't jump on the furniture, unless invited, doesn't beg for food, rarely barks and knows his commands. He is great with everyone he meets, including kids, cats and dogs, though we are looking for a quieter home where he can enjoy his retirement and not get run over by over zealous dogs or young children. He would do great with another gentle dog to pal around with! He is in great shape, and x-rays and bloodwork came back great! He is getting a little slow when getting up in the morning, and will need to be on Dasuqin for life to make sure he stays limber! He loves his toys, and would prefer an endless supply of stuffies.

Bach's adoption fee is $150. <p> All MVPC dogs are heart worm tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate trained and on a great potty training schedule.

ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. DO NOT USE THE PETFINDER/ADOPTAPET CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those--only submitted applications will receive a response. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. Because we are volunteer based and a home visit is required, we have a two hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions, though rare, may be made on a case by case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
