My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

s. She has lost the love and security of a home 3 times in less than a year. The first time was right before Christmas last year when her owner abandoned her at the shelter. The new boyfriend had moved in and said it was him or the cat. She was returned to rescue the end of this past summer when her owner was no longer able to care for her due to serious medical issues. Belle was then in a foster situation where she was fed but received very little attention. Lastly, she was with a great foster and was adjusting when flood waters from Hurricane Matthew destroyed that home. Belle needs a family who will be patient with her and understand the rejection she has felt this last year. She is adjusting well at our house and tolerates all the herd of cats, ours plus lots of fosters. She would do well with another cat as long as it was an older, settled one.
