Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Georgia is a pretty girl who's looking for a warm lap and a gentle hand to pet her.
Georgia and her sister ended up in a Chicago area shelter when her owner went into a care facility that didn't allow dogs. Georgia's sister was adopted, but poor Georgia spent several more months alone in the shelter waiting for someone to save her.
Georgia does OK with other dogs as long as they respect her space. She would love to be her human’s one and only, however! She is fine with cats. Calm children would be fine, too.
At 2 years old Georgia is a slightly larger Chihuahua weighing about 14 pounds (the vet would like her to lose a few pounds.) She is housebroken and crate trained, doesn't chew and is not destructive.
Georgia is housetrained, crate trained, spayed and up to date on vaccinations.
Georgia’s adoption fee is $250. Adopters must live within 150 miles or a 3 hour drive of the Quad City area.
For more information about Georgia, email debbie@k9kindnessrescue.org or fill out the online adoption application at www.k9kindnessrescue.org.
Georgia and K9 Kindness Rescue thank you for considering adoption through rescue for a new family companion!
