Hi, I'm Danicka. I am a 1.5 year old 11lb chihuahua mix. I have been through a lot in my short life. I was adopted from the shelter after being there for a while and my new family had a young son. He loved me but he loved me a little too hard. He would cuddle and squeeze me until I squealed in pain or he would pick me up and then drop me on the hard floor, but I never once hurt him. My foster mom took me in when my other family felt bad for hurting me and didn't want to take me back to that cold shelter. I just want to love and be loved. I cuddle in your arms if you let me and my favorite is to curl up on the couch and watch shows with you while you gently stroke my ears. I am super loyal and warm up quickly to friendly faces. I am good with other dogs and children. My foster mom even has a new baby and he loves my little tongue kisses. I am potty trained (although I did have one accident in my foster mom's house when I first arrived but have since figured out where the outside is) and I am crate trained so I will happily wait for you to get home while I am in my crate...I even like to sleep in my crate at night. I would prefer to sleep in bed with you but if you give me love and cuddles I will sleep wherever you want me to.
