I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cashmere's Story...
Cashmere was brought in by her owner of 11 years because he "will not let anything live in his home that doesn't work for their food". When asked about her name he said all he had to say was "Come Here" so he guesses her name is Here. He said she would make a great pet for some family. He said she will not hunt anymore and lies when she does. Please help us find her a loving forever home with a family who knows a beautiful loving friend when they see one.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cashmere, a Newland Mountain Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mountain Cur for sale in Newland, or seeking a Mountain Cur dog from a breeder in Newland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mountain Cur breeders who help with Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newland paves the way for another one to be saved.
