*URGENT* Willow's Story...
Willow is a 8 year old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. She weighs about 7-8 lbs.
Willow is a love bucket who lives to snuggle with her human and watch tv. She has some energy so is looking for someone who has some energy too. Willow walks well on a leash and is crate trained. She would benefit from a basic training class with her human. Willow would prefer to be the only pet so she can get all the attention. She needs someone who will give her exercise but will also spend time cuddling with her.
Willow is healthy, house trained, spayed, current on all vaccines and microchipped.
Foster / adoption only open to Southern California residents. We do not foster / adopt any of our dogs to households with children under 10 years old.
A foster / adoption application must be filled out PRIOR to anyone meeting any of our dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

*URGENT* Willow, a Van Nuys Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Van Nuys, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Van Nuys.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Van Nuys already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Van Nuys breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Van Nuys paves the way for another one to be saved.
