Ally's Story...
Wondering how big Ally might be? She is just under 50 pounds, but some people think she looks like a giant Boston Terrier! Ally was transferred from another shelter after being found as a stray. She has an easy-going personality but would love a home that will take her out for walks, play with her, and maybe even teach her some tricks (she loves treats)! When you come to visit her, don't risk overlooking her and just come in and ask to meet her! We promise she's ready to be your new best friend. Ally is an incredibly sweet, gentle girl who would love a chance at a wonderful life with you! Won't you come see her today?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ally, a Wilmington Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
